Proof That Article Submissions Work

Proof that Article Submissions Work There are endless amounts of articles on the Internet about SEO and how to get your rankings higher. Links to your site have always been of value but are at times very hard to come by. Link Farms were created and dismissed by search engines of being any value. Great decision by the search engines. These sites are endless links that do not mean anything to us humans. I have actively been submitting and refining my Internet presence since 2000. Since SEO sometimes can take months to take hold and see any results it can be hard to see if it is working. That is by far the hardest part of «selling» SEO to customers. We are essentially asking them to pay us month after month and in around 6 months or so you will start to see results.

Sorry but that is the way it works. You see building traffic to your site is not any one BIG thing. It is a LOT of little things done consistently over time.I have been tracking a number of these little things and they are actually adding up to BIG RESULTS. Most people do not like to write articles and they don’t believe that they can. I was one of those people. The questions run rampant: I don’t know what to write I cannot write well I am not an expert The biggest obstacle to overcome is to just sit down and do it! You are in a business so who better to write about the business than you. Here are some Real world results. I wrote an article called: What is an auto responder? If you do a goolge search on this: What is an auto responder + You will see 162 results. Most of these results are directly from this one article. These links are one way links NOT reciprocal links. I did not have to provide a back links to get these links to our site. They all generated themselves with One Article. If you are struggling to write your own article then you can always pay a ghost writer to write your article. At BuyLeadsforless we can also write and submit your article. Your links are actually included in the Bio area of the article.

So you can have the links point to your replicated web site BUT we highly recommend having your own site.

There is no control on a corporate web site. With your own site the keywords in your article can match the keywords on your web site. On the Internet most things score higher if they are interwoven and relevant to each other. So, keywords in the article linked to keywords on your web site mean higher rankings.

Get This Wrong And Your Internet Marketing Dreams Will Shatter

There are a lot of myths about internet marketing.

However, this is not one of them. There is one mistake that if you get wrong, will shatter your dreams of success. There is one thing online that you must do, no matter what. Can you guess what it is? The one thing you must do above all else with internet marketing is pick the right market. Sound obvious? But really, I am serious. Getting into the wrong market is like pushing a boulder up a hill. Compared with rolling one down a hill if you get it right. There are really tough markets. And there are easy markets. So what is an easy market? This is one where they have an intense need for your product, and have showed in the past the willingness and ability to buy similar things to that which you want to sell. Many people start out with a fantasy product in mind that they love the concept of. If they love it, everybody else should, right? Wrong. It rarely works out like that unfortunately. Research of markets is what you must do, to find these obsessed people who can afford to buy, and have proven they do buy, in the past. Past behavior usually predicts future actions. So where can you find these easy markets? Look at the magazine racks. What you should know is, magazines are expensive to manufacture.

If a magazine is being sold, whether it is about scented soap, or yoga, there is a definite demand there.

Markets where people are buying the magazine. Look for the amount of magazines being sold on the topic. Ten magazines shown is a bigger market than two or three. Which generally suggests more people are involved with it. This can also likely mean more competition, however. Which generally can be good. This is an indication that people are spending money, if many magazine publishers are going after a particular subject. Now look inside them. See what advertisements are running. The more advertisements is highly suggestive there are many people ready and willing to spend money on the products being advertised. Also look at the size of the advertisements. If there are many large ones, as opposed to small ones, more money generally, is being spent. This is crucial to your success in finding a hot market to go after. Going through this process makes your success with internet marketing much easier. Using internet marketing skills to sell is much less problematic when you have a legion of hungry buyers. Now get out there right now and find them. Copyright Gary Martin 2006 All Rights Reserved

Metaphors And Personal Excellence

I used to be a favorite student in literature class because I kept using metaphors. I was fascinated with them and thought they had such rich meanings. I was able to interpret and analyze them clearly and creatively, until I discovered neurolinguistic programming – and that was where my world really opened up. Did you know that your mind is metaphorical? That you tend to think more easily in metaphors and images rather than words alone? Even as you are reading this, you are forming mental ‘impressions’. These impressions can be visual, auditory or kinesthetic in nature, and you most definitely can create shifts in them. Remember the time when you wanted to gross someone out at the dining table? You’d pepper your words with graphic images of maggots and roaches.

But think about it – you were literally using language to affect someone’s emotional state. Now, if the mind was so powerful, you could change things negatively, how about creating change for the positive? If you could imagine daily that everything in your life was going to be perfect and take one simple action step every day that could lead you there, what kind of metaphors would you rather have in your mind? You see, influence begins with yourself. If you knew how to create massive changes in the lives of other people, you need to manage your states, understand the structure of your language and many other things in your life. Imagine that this could be your future. Wouldn’t you want to learn about it? NLP training is actually at your finger tips no matter where you are in the world. I’m opening up invitations for all people who wish to learn and develop NLP skills for a song. All it takes is for you to have a computer and a telephone. To register, go to where you can take up an introductory NLP course for free.

One-way links, reciprocal links, three-way links: what works best?

There are a lot of rumors about one-way links, reciprocal links and three-way links on the Internet. Which of these links work best for your business and which links do you need to get higher search engine rankings? What are one-way links? A one way link is a simple link from one website to the other. For example, if you link to and that page doesn’t link back to your website then it’s a one-way link from your site to their site. What are reciprocal links? A link is a reciprocal link if you link to a website and that website links back to your website. You send visitors to the other site and the other website sends visitors back to you. That makes sense because all visitors leave a website sooner or later. You can send your visitors back to search engines or you can send them to affiliates websites that send you traffic in return. What are three-way links? Some webmasters believe that reciprocal links don’t help web pages to get higher search engine rankings. That’s why they invented three way links: Website A links to website B, website B links to website C, website C links to website A. Which links will help you to get higher search engine rankings? Good inbound links will help you to get higher search engine rankings. None of the link types above is worth more than the other. It’s important that the links to your website are from related sites and on-topic. If a reciprocal link is on a low quality page with links to every Tom, Dick and Harry then it won’t count much.

However, that’s also true if the same page carries a one-way link or a three-way link. It doesn’t matter if a link is one-way, reciprocal or three-way. It does matter if a link is on a related website. Links from high quality websites will help your rankings, links from garbage sites won’t. If you want to improve your search engine rankings, try to get links from web pages that have something to do with your site. Link buildings tools can help you to find these sites.

Using Tell A Friend Script To Drive Unstoppable Traffic

More and more webmasters have the recurring dilemma on how to increase the flow of traffic in the websites. During the past few years many methods that been developed to solve this predicament. While most of them would work there are those that would not make even a small impact.

One of the methods that have spawned many success stories in driving traffic into websites is viral marketing. Viral marketing makes use of the tendency of a person to share something to find informative, entertaining or amazing. Many companies bank on this behavior to spread their products and increase the popularity of their company or their website. Viral marketing makes use of many mediums in enticing this behavior. It might be in the form of an interesting story, an addicting flash game, an amusing video and many others that may catch a person’s fancy. This ingenious form of marketing is typically low cost and is a wonderful tool for any company to utilize. The benefit greatly overshadows the cost or efforts to initialize this marketing scheme. Any website would greatly benefit that viral marketing. Tell A Friend Script One of the easiest methods in viral marketing is using a tell a friend script. This is a simple programming script that you can attach to the programming of your website. Generally, tell a friends script are installed in pages where a media is placed so that a person can easily send the media to any of his friends or his family members. The basic concept of a tell a friend script is a script wherein a person may input his name, e-mail address, the recipient’s e-mail address and send the media to the intended recipient much like an e-mail with an attachment. As the recipient receives the e-mail he wouldn’t think of the mail a spam mail because he would see the sender’s name as someone he or she knows and trust. Tell a friend script eliminates greatly the chances of being blocked because they use the information inputted by the sender. This allows for wider spreading of this marketing method. It can be quite sneaky but it is very effective. With the e-mail sent and opened the sent media will either be read, viewed or played. Also along with the mail would be a brief description of the company or site that sponsors the media sent. This allows for the introduction of either the site, company name or its products.

The along with it is another tell a friend script. Then the process begins again. As more people use the tell a friend script, more and more people will know of the existence of the sponsoring company or site. People who read the ads inside the mail who liked what they see would go and click on the link and visit the site. This drives traffic into the site resulting to great number of potential customers. Tell A Friend Script Availability A tell a friend script is very simple and does not require a complicated method of programming. In fact, you can copy paste a script and simply put it on an intended page. Finding one is even simpler. All you have to do is go to a search engine and type in the search box “tell a friend script” then press enter or click go. In the search results page you will see many links that will direct you to a site where you can get a tell a friend script. It would just be a simple matter of looking and searching for the script and copying it to your intended web page. With a tell a friend script viral marketing strategy you can drive traffic into your site which could potentially spell profits. This is a simple harmless script that offers great benefits for low cost paired with great creativity and foresight. It is imperative that you have patience in using a tell a friend script.

If your chosen media doesn’t get the mileage that is expected of it, it may take some time before it gets spread or shared. But surely many people will see your ads and there is great probability that they will visit your site increasing your traffic flow.

Submitting your articles to Directories

Joshua Spaulding There are already many tools that people can use to make the process of distributing their articles more easily. Though this is invaluable in getting the contents more exposure, which is only half of the story.

Let us take a look first at the common mistakes that some people make before submitting their contents to article directories: 1. Confusing the reason to promote the articles with the reason to write them. In article writing, there are three key benefits why you are promoting them; branding, lead generation and promotion, which are all part of your optimization efforts. But there is only one reason why you write an article, and that is to inform your audience. If the article is not focused on this primary and most important purpose, it will fail to achieve the three promotion benefits because no one will be interested in reading them. You need to figure out first how to get people to read what is in your article, then make them click on your resource box. You can achieve this by producing better contents. 2. Failing to maximize the promotional opportunities of article marketing. You may know already that your articles can help you generate additional links back to your site. But do you know that you can get more visitors and better search engine results from that same articles? Mention keywords at strategic places. Just be sure not to overdo them. Some are even using anchor texts which is also an effective method. But it is important to know that majority of the directories are not able to support this. Remember that is not only about the links back to your site. Part of doing well in your article marketing is getting picked up by publishers with a large number of audiences and gaining the ability of leveraging other brands because of the quality of your work. Better search engine results also are great benefits. But these things do not put much money in your pocket. There are other factors that can turn your article marketing efforts into an opportunity that can boost your earnings. Not just increase the number of visitors to your site. Start out with a plan and see to it that your article will serve the function that you intended it to have. 3. Publishing content that does not help your readers. Maybe in the process of writing articles, you are thinking that all that is you wanted is links back to your site.

And any visitors it can generate are fine. Guess what? Not all article banks and directories are going to accept your content automatically. Oftentimes, they have some guidelines and specifications on the articles that they are accepting. You can double the number of sites you can submit to by writing articles that the directories want to share with other people. All it takes is one publisher with a hundred thousand readers to increase your potential audience overnight. Write the articles that publishers want in their publications if you want your article marketing to work the most effective way for you. This also means you have to obey the standard guidelines, spell checks, researching on a good topic and even hiring a writer to produce a good content on your behalf. In the end, it is all really a matter of choice on your part. You can start getting a little exposure from increased links back but on a very basic level. Or enjoy massive exposure from a little extra time making quality contents. It will be your choice. You may not be aware of the fact that an article submitted on directories is not meant to have the same level of exposure as highly-targeted content ones geared on a narrow group of people.

Learn the difference between these two and it will surely help you know what kinds of articles to write and to submit.

Craigslist Helps Real Estate Agents Reach Buyers

They say the bubble is bursting, but you would not know it by the over 32,669 active housing listings from the past 7 days alone in the San Francisco section on Craigslist.

com. Real estate sales are alive and well on Craigslist with the real estate sales section as the #3 most popular category, more agents are realizing the power and value in using Craigslist to reach new buyers. What is Craigslist? Started in 1995 by Craig Newmark, was initially created to help people find affordable housing in San Francisco. Craigslist is now the most popular online classifieds website in the world, with over 10 million visitors monthly and growing. Craigslist features 300 available cities across 35 countries for posting. Everyday people come looking to buy, sell and lease property. Agents can capitalize on this traffic by posting free ads and answering ads seeking homes. It truly is a real estate agents dream marketing tool. Getting Started Agents interested in using Craigslist can get started by visiting the website and deciding which cities to post in. Research other ads in your area to identify areas in need of property listings and to find out what your competitors are posting. The real estate section of Craigslist is divided into sections to direct traffic to specific areas including rooms shares, apartments/houses for rent, housing swap, office commercial, parking storage, real estate for sale, sublets temporary and vacation rentals. Posting an ad is free except in New York City, which just started to charge $10 for rental listings. Once you know where you’d like to post, create either single ads for hot properties or a combination ad listing all your available properties for that area. Creating an Ad Ads are simple to create and are mostly text and require no design or html experience. Your ad should be descriptive with contact info and supporting photos. Images of your properties will increase response by over 200%, so be sure to include shots that really help sell the property.

Images can be easily uploaded during the posting process. Posting Your Ad Posting an ad is as easy as picking your city, choosing the correct category, selecting post at the top right corner and entering your listing into the form. You will need to come up with a good title to get people’s attention. Your ad should also feature keyphrases that people might search when looking for your property region, style, features, etc. Once you enter your text into the form, upload your images. You will need to enter an e-mail address, but you can choose to keep it anonymous. Then you simply submit, review and wait for the link in your e-mail to publish. Reposting, Multi-Posting and Auto-Posting Once published, your ad will remain on Craigslist for 7 or 45 days, depending on your selected city. Staying on the first page is very important but you are only allowed to post the same ad in more than one city very 48 hours. However, to get around this rule, create multiple ads for the same property, but slightly different text or use a different e-mail for each ad. To succeed you will need to repost at least every 48 hours as new buyers come to the website all the time.

To automate the reposting process you can use an underground auto-posting service or purchase a script.

These programs are not sanctioned by Craigslist but are widely used and highly effective. Keep in mind that buyers are turned off by spam, so be sure to only post your property once a day, per city and category. This ensures you get great placement without coming off as desperate or overly aggressive. As you can see using Craigslist is a very easy and affordable way to reach new customers. This is only the beginning of what agents can do to promote properties on Craigslist. As Craigslist becomes even more popular it is the agents who not only use the service, but can effectively navigate and exploit creative out of the box ideas that will win.

The First Social Commerce Network

Social networking sites such as YouTube™, FaceBook™, and MySpace™ have not only been a boon to makers of funny videos – they have become a tool for savvy online marketers to sell their wares. Everything from music to used cars is sold via online videos. However, many companies are finding a problem with these sites – the free access to everyone creates an environment that is not conducive to business. Merchants have slowly begun to move away from these sites. Now businesses have something to cheer about. Until now, there were no «social commerce network» online video models, and JunkTube caters to both personal and business social commerce only. There are many businesses which feel the need of selling via video but most of the businesses are wary of promoting their business through websites which were meant for personal fun and teen social networking and can not conduct serious business. Another factor which discouraged businesses to promote videos was the audience that visited the websites. The majority of the audience visited the sites for watching funny videos or catching up on their favorite music bands. Hence, it does not make sense for a business to promote its products on such sites because they are not business-user friendly. The business would not get the target audience of the product or service that it is trying to promote. Luckily, there is something currently on the Internet which is going to change the way you watch videos and conduct business. «The Social Commerce Network» video site will soon become a reality and businesses now have a place where they can promote their products using The social commerce network site will help personal homes and merchants sell anything from music videos to lawnmowers. It is definitely an innovative way of promoting the goods and services that you are trying to promote. It is possible to upload your video for members and visitors to see without the fear of sharing the same page with someone who is not interested. The members who visit the social commerce website will be genuine viewers who would be interested in either checking out or buying a product.

JunkTube’s «social commerce network» video site is planning to charge a small membership fee for verification purposes, to ensure the quality of traffic that visits the sites. The site owners are also planning to have a check on the members to ensure that kids who are below a stipulated age do not become members of the site. Other parameters will also be checked to ensure the quality of membership through volunteered identification verification. The products or services that would be uploaded on the sites would also be screened before being displayed on the site. With so many measures in place, it will be possible to uphold the quality of the site and ensure that the products and services being sold are genuine and of high quality. This type of business model is exactly what companies and individuals interested in selling their products or services are in need of. Video is a great sales tool to promote products and services and presentation is the key to a successful business model. «The Social Commerce Network™» Video site is aimed at the single person selling an item to the business company selling multiple items. This promises to be a very lucrative and large market where anything goes including advertising which is a growing segment on the Internet and fast becoming the place to be.

Creating a successful directory

After i purchased phpLD ( phplinkdirectory script) , inside the phpLD forum itself and also at Digital Point and other places, i noticed even though there were several directory owners, very few had a proper idea how they would present their directory to the people they were going to attract – the visitors. About at least 40% of the people had a single question in mind – what categories they were going to create and how ? As i had mentioned before, finding and buying the directory script was the easy part, as every second webmaster was building a directory .

In my opinion ….

one of the major reasons so many members are building directories is simply to get more backlinks , reciprocal links or in other words SEO optimisation purposes . It is by now a well known fact that Directories are often easily crawled , especially if they are SEO friendly like phpLD. Some of the Directory owners also make it big by getting good PR and even getting enough submissions and promotions begin to charge money for the submissions. But in my opinion , a directory would primarily be built for making the web surfing / browsing easier for the novice or general visitor . There are by now millions and millions of websites and web pages, blogs, forums , article repository, services and products available on the web and the search engines like Google, yahoo , MSN and many others are undoubtedly making sure that they unearth new sites every day. However, as we painfully find out that just indexing the pages hardly makes it any easier for the surfer, due to various unethical SEO and spamming processes. Hence the directories …. but not just directories, but a well categorized directory, so that the user can easily and without any tricks manage to find exactly what they wish to find should be the objective . Unless a web directory has a proper categorization , or a proper theme in mind, it is simply not worth making the directory.

As a webmaster , we are doing our duty to educate and aid the layman visitor, but unless we ourselves are not educated enough, should we be attempting it ? As I had mentioned earlier , several wannabe directory owners ( mind you i am not saying I am a master
:pby a long shot ), ask around the question of what categories should they be creating in their directory and often they are even ready to buy complete category structure of another directory or even custom categories ( I might get flamed for this, lol ) . If this was the case, why not simply use the DMOZ RDF dump, like many many other sites, which is available for free ? If I may say so, what role are we playing as directory owners, if we are buying the software to create the directory base, buying the category structure and probably even buying links … and keep on cloning one General Directory with another? In my opinion, if we are going to build web directories, we should best be building niche directories with niche and detailed to detailed categories as much possible and trying to promote them and collecting links the hard way … by hand . If you dont have a idea, the least one can do is choose a section from DMOZ and carry forward on its branches of sub categories and list as many sites as you can and request other websites of that particular genre to submit to your directory . Maybe in this way , we will be able to actually share the load out of the search engines and continue to profit even as every other directory will be having its own importances. DMOZ truly is not a bad place to start, as it is undoubtedly very neatly categorized with appropiate descriptions , and rules for each individual sub category , which can be implemented on our own sites a well. I have been creating categories for my own directory ( ) and still I feel I am not even 15% through in creating branches to accomodate every kind of site which can fall under Entertainment ; and have also noticed, I think Anon (our phpLD mod) has a real estate directory with over 2,550,000 categories David ( phpLD owner ), if I am not wrong has a Directory for Dance related websites. Maybe these can give a example of what i have tried to rant about in the above passage .

Internet Marketing: 10 Deadly Sins of a Poorly Designed Website

Face it. There are tons of websites out there but very few that actually pull their weight and get results. Effective website design is not easy. If it was, every business that put up a website would realize enormous success. It takes many different skill sets to pull together a killer website. That being said, here is a list of website design sins for your edification. Consider these deeply and I highly recommend you make sure your website doesn’t commit them. Website Sin # 1 – Website does not have a crystal clear objective.

Why do you have or want to have a website in the first place? What do you want it to do for your business? Website Sin #2 – No clear call to action. This sin dovetails on the previous one. Once you are clear on your website’s objective, make it real clear to your visitor what action you want them to take. Clearly spell it out. Trust me, leave no room for interpretation. Website Sin #3 – Website does not have a means to capture visitor’s contact information. You are missing a tremendous opportunity to gather prospects who are clearly interested in what you have to offer – hence qualified prospects to market to going forward. Do whatever it takes here. Offer what we call an “ethical bribe” in exchange for their contact information. Website Sin #4 – Website doesn’t give visitors a reason to come back. Unless your website is a one-time sales website, you must keep it chock full of new and great content to keep it producing for you. Website Sin #5 – Website has no substance, all style. Dovetailing on the previous sin, focus should be more on adding valuable content as opposed to having flashy animations. Flashy animations may wow your visitors once (if you’re lucky), but great content starts building a relationship or dare I say a dependency on you.

Bottom line you’re adding value to your prospects.

Website Sin #6 – Website has an “it’s all about me” mentality. Keep the copy conversational in tone and focus clearly on what’s in it for your visitor. Make them feel that it’s all about them – make them feel special. Website Sin #7 – Website is inconsistent with your “Brand”. Your website does not have to be the best looking site out there. It is far more critical to be consistent (same overall look, feel and design as your other marketing materials). These next three sins are absolutely inexcusable and should not require much explanation. Nothing will frustrate your visitor more and detract from your credibility faster. Website Sin #8 – Poor or inconsistent navigation. Don’t make people think. Make it real easy for visitors to find what they are looking for. Website Sin #9 – Dead links. This is a credibility killer. Always do what you say you’re going to do. It is amazing what people can read into a dead link – the worst being that you simply don’t care enough about you visitor. Website Sin #10 – Slow website. I know, it’s hard to believe but not everyone is using high speed broadband Internet connections yet. A little compassion here goes a long way. © 2005 Online Marketing Muscle — All Rights Reserved.

The more people who signs up for your newsletter, the more people there will be that will go to your site increasing your traffic. Another great idea is trading links with other sites. You don’t have to spend a cent. All you have to do is reach an agreement with another webmaster. With exchanging links, the efforts both sites do will benefit both sites. Every traffic that goes to the site could potentially click on the link of your site and visit your site as well. This works well especially when both sites feature the same niche. Write articles that could pique the attention of people that have interest in your product. Try writing articles that will provide tips and guides to other aficionados. Writing articles that provide good service and knowledge to other people would provide the necessary mileage your traffic flow needs. Many sites offer free submission and posting of your articles.

When people find interest in your articles they have a good chance of following the track by finding out where the article originated.

Include a link or a brief description of your company with the article and there’s a great probability that they will go to your site.

Write good content for your site. Many search engines track down the keywords and keyword phrases your site uses and how they are used. It is not a requirement that a content should be done by a professional content writer. You could do your on but you have to make content for your site that is entertaining as well as informational. It should provide certain requirements as well as great quality. Generally, Internet users use search engines to find what they are looking for. Search engines in return use keyword searching in aiding their search results. With the right keywords, you could get high rankings in search engine results without the costs. All of these methods and more will drive more traffic to your site for free. All it takes is a bit of effort and extended man hours. Learn all you can about the methods depicted here and you will soon have a site with a great traffic flow without the usual costs that come with it.

Perfect marketing by article marketing is easy with these 5 tips

Writing an article doesn’t just mean putting down thoughts into words then typing and writing it. You have to capture the interest of your readers and get them to keep on reading. To send your message across you have to get the attention of the reader and have a firm grasp of their interest and pique their curiosity. The main ingredient in baking up an article is a large dose of creativity. While creativity may come natural to many people, some just gets into a block or something to that effect that can drive someone crazy. Many writers have literally torn their hair out when they get writers block and just can’t seem to get their creative juices flowing. Putting words into images in the readers mind is an art. A clear and crisp depiction requires a certain flair that only creativity can provide. Similes and metaphors help a lot, but the way an article gets entwined word for word, sentence by sentence then paragraph by paragraph into a whole article develops the essence of the article. So just what do you have to do when nothing comes to mind? There is no surefire ways to get the perfect ideas but there are easy ways to get your creative juices flowing. No one can guarantee you of having the perfect mindset but many methods may aid you in achieving that state of mind. Here are five easy ways for that. 1) Keep a diary or a journal with you always. Ideas can be triggered by anything you may hear, see, or smell.

Your senses are your radar in finding great ideas. Write all of them into a journal and keep it with you for future reference. You may also write down anything that you have read or heard, someone’s ideas could be used to develop your own ideas and this is not stealing. Remember that ideas and creativity can come from anywhere; it’s the development of the idea that makes it unique. 2) Relax and take time to sort things out. A jumbled mind cannot create any space for new ideas. Everyone must have a clear mind if one wishes to have their creativity in full speed. Get rid of all obstacles that can be a hindrance to your creativity. If you are bothered by something, you cannot force your mind to stay focused. Try to relax every time that you can and think about your experiences and interactions with others. Your experiences are what shape your mindset and your opinions which could be reflected on your writings. Try to discover yourself, find out what triggers your emotions. Discover what inspires you and what ticks you off. You can use these emotions to help you in expressing yourself and your ideas, with this you can grow creatively. 3) Create a working place that can inspire your creativeness.

Your working place can be quite a hindrance if it doesn’t make you feel happy or relaxed.

Creativity comes from being in a good state of mind and a messed up workplace that causes distraction won’t be conducive in firing up your creative flow. Surround your working place with objects that makes you happy and relaxed. You may put up pictures, or scents, objects that inspire, or anything that can get your creativeness cranking. A clean and well organized workplace also rids of distractions and unwanted hindrances. With a good working place, you can work in peace and never notice the time pass by. 4) Set the mood. Setting the mood requires you to just go with the moment or to induce your self to feeling what makes your mind works best. Finding out what makes you tick could help you find ways to get your creative juices flowing. Set the pace and tempo for your mood and everything else will follow. There are many ways to set the mood. Some writers have been known to use alcohol, a little sip of wine to stir up the imagination. Some would like some mood music while others let the lighting of the environment create the mood. 5) Go on a getaway and just do something unlike crazy. Letting yourself go and have fun produces adrenaline that can make your imagination go wild. Take an adventure or a solemn hike. Whatever it is that is unusual from your daily routine can take the rut out of your schedule.

In no time at all, your creativeness will make use of that experience and get your imagination to go on overdrive.

Developing a growing business

Many people crave to develop a growing business. Unfortunately, few people can actually develop one successfully. You see, many people, just like you, start off but get distracted by not being able to have a vehicle for success. I’d suggest that you look at some of the leverage factors for the internet. Leverage Factor #1 – A successful business model. If you have not built your own business model, you should adopt one from someone else. For instance, marketing using network marketing, affiliate marketing and so on are useful, but you need to have a program that allows you to derive multiple streams of income all at one go.

If you don’t already have a business online, or are just interested in looking for someone to provide you one, you might want to explore this one at http://www. Leverage Factor #2 – Learning and expertise. To build a bigger base, you definitely need to increase your knowledge. With the right kind of knowledge, you will find that you become more credible and people get attracted to you directly. If you had a database of thousands of hours of a learning library, I think you’d skew the chances to your favor, don’t you think? I’ve discovered that it’s the learner with the right attitude who actually is able to master the skills necessary to grow the business. Leverage Factor #3 – Teams and collective effort. Let’s face it – nobody really succeeds on their own. There’s really no such thing as a self-made millionaire – only a team-made one. IF you want to leverage, you have to find not just the team, but the way to build the team up effectively. I suppose you might want to be a leader as well, and that takes #2 – your learning. Over time, an effective and growing business could be in your hands. To find out more about this opportunity and gain access to mentoring to excellence, please visit

Developing an Internet Marketing Strategy

Stephen Pierce How do I effectively develop an Internet marketing strategy? Every online business owner asks this question at some point in time. Unfortunately there is no universal answer to developing your Internet marketing strategy. There are many different methods being used and new ones being tried every day. However, there are fundamentals that must be in place to develop a successful Internet marketing strategy. – Internet marketing strategy one: Know your target market. Don’t guess, those who guess fail. Check your reality; don’t think everyone needs what you are selling. Take the time and effort to develop a very specific outline of your preferred customer. Research, ask questions, talk to people, get a firm understanding of who it is you are selling to and don’t depend on “if you build it they will come”. When you have a grasp of your target market you’ll be able to make accurate decisions about your business, not guesses based on guesses. Developing an Internet marketing strategy is like building the foundation of your business. When you analyze your target audience, you’ll want to find out the answers to questions such as the ones listed below. What products/services do you currently buy? Why do you buy your current brand? What do you like about it? What could be improved? If you could recreate the product/service, how would you change it? What Web sites do you frequent? What ezines or newsletters do you receive via email? Sex? Age? Annual income? Occupation? Title? Are you a business owner? Depending on what your business sells or offers, there should be more questions you can develop to further hone your target market and therefore you Internet marketing strategy.

How do you get this information? Talk to people in person or in groups. Conduct an online survey. offers excellent survey tools free of charge. Make use of online forums. Put a forum on your site. Use a promotional give away to get information. Be creative and be real. – Internet marketing strategy two: Understand why people stay on your site once they are there. People who come to your site and leave seconds later are not customers. Your first page should load very quickly. Be brief and to the point. Verbosity is marketing death. Good design, good writing and white space are preferred. Use tables with cell padding and cell spacing to give your pages a quality feel. Hiring professionals can be money well spent. – Internet marketing strategy three: Don’t base your sales pitch on deception. Make sure your links accurately describe what the viewer will get. It is a common con to have a link to a freebie or discount lead to nothing more than a hard sales pitch that the viewer wouldn’t have chosen. If you do, you’ll likely lose the potential customer. – Internet marketing strategy four: Always provide something for the viewer, even information can make them return again and again.

Your viewers like to get new, updated material.

Therefore, make sure to provide ongoing quality information as often as possible. – Internet marketing strategy five: Always research the methods you may want to use to advertise, i.e. link exchanges, click through programs, pay per click programs, advertising on search engines, banner ads, etc. Make sure the methods you select reach your target market. Don’t market your ego; market your product or service.

Timeshare-Let us Give What the Kids Want

It actually makes great sense for the kids.

In previous articles we have told the story of the Mark Hopkins hotel in San Francisco. For those who missed it, the 1942 nightly rack rate was $5.00 single and $7.00 double. By 1974 it was $45.00 and $55.00. Last year it was $210 to $270 single or double depending on location. Carrying that price increase forward another 50 years will set the price at $9,058.00 per night!! Can’t happen, you say? It did happen and there is absolutely no reason it won’t happen again. Now what will the kids think of you when they are saving this kind of money down the road? They will think their parents were just about the brightest people in the whole world and they will think that every time they vacation. What a great legacy!! Why, then don’t they want it now? Even for free? Well, you think back. Several years ago did you wake up one morning, look at each other and say, «This is sure a great day to go out and buy a timeshare?» We all know that didn’t happen. No, you went out not to buy, but just to pick up your free car, Hawaiian vacation or other «free» gift. After you had left the sales presentation, you said, «What happened?» Not only had you paid for your own «free» gift, but you had also paid for those of the other nine people who didn’t buy. You probably didn’t give a lot of logical thought to this purchase as you were intentionally swept away by the slick emotional sales method employed.

So now you offer it to the kids and they decline.

Why is that? It is almost always the cost of upkeep that the kids focus upon. The dues of from $350 to $500 and taxes of from $30 to $90 knock them out. They can’t envision spending that much on a vacation. The fact is that they will probably spend a lot more than that even now for a product that isn’t one tenth as good. But the reality is that they have not been sold the product. How many parents will become salespeople to their kids to show and sell them on the advantages of the product before it is offered? Part of it is timing. If the kids are too young or really financially struggling, it is not a good time to offer the gift. Wait until they don’t have those kind of pressures. Also, have you used the timeshare as a family? If not, how could they know how good it is? On the other hand, if they have used it with you as kids and really enjoyed it, and if they now have kids of their own and are struggling with the ever-increasing cost of vacations, their reception will be much different. Timing is everything. Don’t neglect the selling of the benefits. Before offering it to them, open the RCI or Interval International catalog and show them all the neat places they can go. If you have already taken them to some of these, it will just be that much easier. Don’t overlook the fact that you should really be able to offer one to each of your offspring.

Fortunately, resales offer the opportunity to pick up these additional timeshares at a fraction of what you originally spent. And what a gift it is!! They talk about the gift that keeps on giving. This is one that will provide your children with a lifetime of pleasure. And their children after that. You might also clip out this article for your kids for the time when they will pass it along to their children. One final caution. Don’t just add their names to the Deed! In disposing of resale timeshares one of our worst problems has been straightening out improperly deeded property. In some cases it has resulted in the property being unsaleable. In one case a mother just added her four kids names to the deed without any thought to their spouses some of whom were ex-spouses by the time we got into the picture. A nationwide manhunt insued to find the ex-spouses and talk them into signing a quit claim deed. Don’t forget that most timeshares are in fact real property and follow those rules. You are almost always better off obtaining the services of a professional. The lifetime value of timeshares is just starting to be realized now. It will still take a few more years before it is completely obvious to everyone. When it does, the value of resales will increase dramatically.

Writing your Resource Box for Success

Joshua Spaulding Through the recent years many people have learned the secrets of Search Engine Optimization.

More and more sites have seen the effects articles have done for the traffic of their sites. Some have even created sites devoted entirely to providing articles that could be read by their website visitors and have links that could lead to many sites that are related to the topics and subjects of the articles. For example, the sites may feature many articles about a whole lot of topics. As a website visitor reads the articles they have searched for, they can find at the end of the article a resource box that can be clicked on to link them to the site that has submitted the article. Of course the article would be in relation to the site. Lets say if the article is about rotating the tires, the resource box may lead to a link to a site that sells tires or car parts. A resource box is what you usually find at the end of an article. They will contain the name of the author, a brief description of the author, a brief description of the sponsoring site and a link. If a reader likes what they read, they would have the tendency to find out where the article came from to read more. The resource bow will be their link to the source of the article and this will entice them to go to the site and do some more reading or research for the subject or topic they are interested in. But like the article itself, the resource box must also be eye-catching to demand the attention and interest of the reader.

While the resource bow encompasses only a small space, providing the right keywords and content for your resource box will provide more prodding for the reader to go to your site. Now we know what resource boxes are, what are the benefits of having a good resource box? Mainly its driving traffic to your site. Many sites would allow articles to be placed in their sites because they can make use of the articles to fill their pages. They also get affiliation with other sites that can be beneficial for them as well. For the sponsoring site, when you get people to click on your resource box, you generate traffic that can be counted upon as potential customers. So what would be a good content for your resource box? Basically it is keywords, learning about the proper keywords that people are mainly searching for. There are many tools you can find in the internet that can help you in determining what keywords to use. Resource boxes can also make use of all the creativity it can get. You only get a small space for your resource box so you better make the most of it. Try to catch the attention of your reader with resource box content that can make them give a second look. Unlike TV ads, you don’t have visual aids to drive your point in. But you do have the power of imagination of a reader. With the right content, you can make them think and intrigued. Another tip is to use keywords that should be related to your site. Do not mislead your potential website visitors. Build your credibility so that more people would get enticed to visit your site and browse what you have to offer. Make the people click your resource box by providing resource box content that makes a lasting impression. You only get one chance to wow them and hundreds of chances to repulse them. Never underestimate the power of the resource box. It may be small in size but they will provide a significant aid in driving traffic to your site. A boring resource box will never get a job done. Be fun and creative but at the same time show that you have a great deal to offer, too much to ask for something that couldn’t fit a paragraph? Yes and no, there are many tips and guides that can help you in doing this, the first step is realizing how important a resource box could be in making people click your link and be directed to your site.

Over age 50 and got the pink slip?

Frank Flandinette Yesterday in the Yahoo news update, it was disclosed that people who are over 50 and have been given the pink slip may have a high risk of getting a heart attack.

I became speechless when I began to read the article and I realized that this is a nightmare that is silently happening all over America and the rest of the industrialized world. How would anyone who is in this age bracket react to such an occurrence? First of all, it happened to me, coincidentally when I had just turned age 50. I did not get a pink slip because of incompetence or anything of the sort. The company where I worked for over 5 years just sold out its holdings. I was given a fine speech about how invaluable my contribution was and that I can depend on them for a great reference. After that, I was told «hasta la vista». That was it. At first, I did not believe that I had much of a problem. I am a qualified accountant and accountants are in demand and it will only be a question of a short period of time before something else will come up. Furthermore, I was just 50 years young and that’s not old. Boy, how wrong I was. Yes, accountants are in demand but the market is being saturated by young college graduates with accounting degrees whom employers can hire for less. Now I do not want to be the bearer of bad news. This was my experience. Your luck could be far better than mine and you could be gainfully employed in a very short space of time. The advice I am trying to give is that if anyone should find himself or herself in this predicament, then you should always have an alternative strategy to just sending out hundreds or perhaps thousands of resumes to potential employers. You should do an in-depth research into bona fide home based businesses, make your choice and immediately start to nurture this business into maturity. Internet based businesses usually have low start up costs when compared to traditional store front businesses. Of course it will take time, some money and devotion before a home based business can be profitable. Statistics have shown that many people will fail at this not because of the lack of opportunity but because of a lack of interest and effort. I spent over one and a half years looking for an honest home based business with a potential to replace my income in less than two years.

In conclusion: Stay positive and focused on your home based business. Advertising is the key. You’ve got to allocate an advertising budget to get other people to know about your business. Initially, if sales are not up to par, you may get negative remarks or derogatory comments from people with dead end, hours for dollars jobs. Ignore them and just bear in mind that success will be your revenge. Within a reasonable time, you could be earning a residual income that is equal to or greater than what you lost in your last job.

Develop Your Adsense Income!

One layout that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280). Why choose this format out of the many you can use? On the whole because the ads will look like regular web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click these types of links. Construct a custom palette for your ads. Choose a colour that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, attempt to use white as the colour of your ad border and background. The idea to patterning the colours is to make the Adsense look like it is part of the web pages. This will result to more clicks from people visiting your site. Get rid of the Adsense from the bottom pages of your site and put them at the top. Don’t try to hide your Adsense. Put them in the place where people can see them fast. Preserve links to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better off than the others, put your ads there and try maintaining and managing them. If there is already lots of Adsense put into that certain site, put yours on top of all of them. That way visitor will see your ads first upon browsing into that site. There are many other Adsense sharing the same topic as you.

It’s best to think of making a good ad that will be a bit different and distinctive than the ones already done. Every clickthrough that visitors make is a point for you so make every click count by making your Adsense something that people will click on. If you’ve been struggling trying to make a respectable amount of money from AdSense, you don’t have to put up with any more watch the step-by-step videos here:

Niche Marketing – Why It’s So Important

«Say your target customers are everyone, and you will sell to no one.» If your website is not producing as much revenue as you’d like, chances are you’re guilty of not targeting your audience sufficiently. Today’s business environment is so competitive that a small business’s best bet is to focus on developing niche products where there is less competition from large firms. Take the online book market. dominates the field, so smaller start-ups are wise to focus on books in specific niches. There are sites for best sellers, out of print books, used books, Oprah’s Books, teen books, 3-D popup books, e-books, Christian books, and so on and on.

Imagine a small company trying to compete with Amazon’s huge inventory and variety. Then imagine that same company aiming for more depth in a much smaller field. Another reason for niche websites is because you want to get listed in the top 100 sites on any particular search engine. By making a website based around a highly focused niche you reduce considerably the number of competitors that you have. This makes it easier to rank well in the search engines (first 3 pages, or top 100 sites). Without a high Website ranking it is not possible to attract free search engine traffic and hence free visitors. If you’re an affiliate that thinks big and joins dozens of programs, you’re in for a bit of a shock. Your site is indistinguishable from a myriad others, no one knows it exists, and you’re very lonely. Am I right? You need to promote what you join, and it’s impossible to promote that many programs effectively. You won’t succeed at any of them, you’ll lose interest, and your business will disappear. Instead, you need to focus on one thing that you love and create a lot of good content. Everyone who has a website is constantly trying to improve their search engine rankings by carrying out optimization and getting inbound links etc. However one of the easiest ways is to create content that no one else has – unique content. Unique content written for an extremely focused niche market is a sure ticket to promotional success. If your website contains your main keywords as well as a variety of related ones, used in a natural way throughout your pages, you will outperform your competition with fewer, less targeted pages. Using all these keywords throughout your pages also makes your content more interesting, rational, and satisfying. Imagine that…the question isn’t whether you simply occupy a niche, but how much obscure secret stuff you know about it, how much of an expert you are about it, how passionate you are about it, and if your site is interactive and fresh.

Yet another example of «build it and they will come.»

Paid Surveys-The Basics

Overview Taking paid surveys online can be an exciting and fun way to earn a little extra cash. There are literally hundreds of websites that are willing o let you give them your views and opinions by answering their questions, and will pay you for doing so. Set out below are a few of the most common questions that are asked about taking surveys online, together with some tips and hints that can get you started. Finally, a few additional idea sand thing to bear in mind once you have started taking online surveys, and accumulated some cash. What exactly are paid online surveys? Simply put, you answer questions online; you get paid for your opinions. By going to any of the free directories of online survey companies, you can consider a lengthy list of such companies, and decide what kind of survey sites you are interested in. Beware that there are few survey list sites out there that are “paid for” sites that you have to put money upfront to join. Almost invariably, these are no better than the free listing sites highlighted in the “Links” section of my own website, and often, the paid lists offer exactly the same survey listings! Stick to the freebies, is the best advice.

Once you begin the sign up process, the company will usually need to gather some demographic information about you, such as your home town, age, sex and the like.

Again, be aware that more than half the surveys that are available are only on offer to US citizens, and, although in most cases, this is very obvious from outset, sometimes it is necessary to read the small print to make sure that you don’t waste your time! Once that site has a survey that fits the personal profile that you just created, they will then send you an invitation by e-mail. This will tell you how to access the survey, an approximate time that it will take to complete and how much it will be worth to you. Once the survey is done, the company will then arrange to pay you, by check, or via Paypal. Some will not actually “pay” you in monetary terms, either sending out a gift certificate or allowing you to accumulate “points” or “credits” to apply to get a large reward, gift or prize at a later date. How much can you make with paid surveys? The truth is that, whilst many companies offering paid survey “finder” services will suggest that you can earn thousands of dollars a month with paid surveys, you can’t, unless you can work 24 hours a day, eleven days each week. You are far more likely to earn in the hundreds than thousands, period. Of course, how much you actually f=do make depends on several factors, not the least of which is how much effort and work you are wiling to do.

Then there is the demographic question to take into account – a suggested earlier, it is much less likely that you will earn good money if you are outside USA (or, to a lesser extent, UK), as well as the type of surveys that you are completing. Some survey types simply pay better than others. Be aware that this is not “regular” wok. Again, dependent on demographics, the type of surveys that you want to complete and so on, you can sometimes wait days, weeks or even months before you receive a request to complete a survey. You’ll have months where you make very little and months where you may make considerably more. How many surveys can you expect to receive? Probably, at the beginning, not so many. Some sites may send out several survey invitations per month, the overwhelming majority do not. Don’t be discouraged if within the first few months you are not receiving a significant amount of survey invites. Just hang in there, and gradually, things will start moving for you. Should I Consider Paying To Complete a Survey? Absolutely not. Any genuine, real market research company is prohibited by the Marketing Research Association from charging for participation. You should NEVER pay for information about online surveys. As we’ve stated previously, there are plenty sites out there that will be more than willing to take your money for a list of survey sites, but stick with the free lists as they are every bit as good (often better) than the paid ones. For Links to the Best Free Lists of Online Paid Surveys, visit

The Best Learning Tool

Donovan Baldwin «Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

» — Thomas A. Edison What do these people have in common? Walt Disney, Winston Churchill, Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Joanne Rowling (Author of the Harry Potter books), just to name a few. Well, I’ll give you a hint. You might say they all attended the same school. Took some of the same courses, in a manner of speaking. Every one of them is famous today, and is considered to be the model of a successful person. However, at times in their lives, and not just during the early years, they had pretty much either failed, or had not achieved anything of note in their lives. They all attended, in one form or another, the school of hard knocks. But, they learned in that school, and they eventually accumulated enough knowledge, enough common sense, enough experience, enough guts, maybe, to rise to a point where their names have been recorded as a part of history. Oh sure, circumstance played a part. Had not World War II happened along, Winston Churchill would have remained a has-been rather than becoming one of the world’s most famous statesmen. Had Abraham Lincoln caught a fatal disease in his youth, we would never have known his name, and how much of our world would be different? We have to look at our lives and our circumstances in this light. I AM here now, and I CAN make various choices. One of the choices is to do nothing. One of the choices, however is to take a stand, give it the old college try, go out swinging…pick your literary cliche. In the world of network marketing and internet marketing, those with experience and «success» can almost to a person tell story after story of failure, embarassment, defeat, rejection, and depression. I’ve never met a person yet who joined a program and was making appreciable amounts of money in just a few days. I’ve HEARD about such things, and I am sure that there are a few who have either had the skill or luck to create a huge network business practically overnight.

However, it doesn’t happen to most of us. What DOES happen to most of those who sign up for a network marketing program is that while we AREN’T experiencing overnight success, we DO experience failure, embarassment, defeat, rejection, and depression, not to mention other «…slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.» This combination of negative pressures without any offsetting positives (I’m talking about income) in the early stages of a network or internet business causes most of the so-called «failures» and drop-outs in the networking world. The sad part is that most of these people do not truly become «failures» until they actually give up. Yes, some will never be successful, but that is true about anything from brain surgery to law to flipping burgers. Some people are just not going to be good at certain things. Some people are going to be in the wrong place at the wrong time almost every time, but that does not mean that they are failures or should be branded as such by themselves or by anyone else. Temporary failure, if we can see it that way, is not just a course in the school of hard knocks, it is a coach. Just as a coach may pit a boxer, wrestler, or entire team against a tougher opponent in hopes of teaching them to overcome such opponents, failure gives us the opportunity to learn new skills and to unlearn old, useless skills. Those who continue to grow through this process are the ones who will eventually be labeled «successful». It is necessary to see the obstacles that a new marketer faces as training experiences, not as an insurmountable or immoveable objects. The sad part is that so many people recruiting for network marketing programs go out of their way to play up the potential gains of the business while failing to prepare the new player for the difficulties of the game.

Many of us who have achieved varying degrees of success in network marketing or internet marketing can tell many of the same stories. We tried all kinds of programs, methods, and techniques. We bought, or bought into, all kinds of books, programs, software, and miscellaneous mumbo-jumbo. We did it because we were ignorant, and perhaps a little greedy, but eventually we learned, and eventually we succeeded. I now make a living off the internet, the mystical target, the six-figure-income. However, beside me is a bookcase full of books, on top of my work station are all kinds of software, loaded onto my computer are many programs, tucked into nooks and crannies around the room are folders full of papers. Among all of these are many things that I use to promote and grow my business, but, to tell the truth, I could probably dispose of ninety percent of it and never miss it. I have spent so much time following the wrong paths, and so much money (my term is «accidental tuition») buying things that did little or nothing for me. And yet, I cannot truly regret all that because I never gave up the idea that some day I would succeed, and each «failure» just was another lesson learned.

Eventually, all those lessons reached the point where one day my wife looked at me and said, «You know all those ads you use to read to me about making a six-figure-income?» I replied, «Yes.

What about it?» She said, «You are.» I had graduated from the school of hard knocks, at least for the time being, but I did not grauate because I was brilliant. I graduated because I didn’t give up. Wow! Me and Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln…..! Okay, I’ll shut up now, but I started with a quote and I’ll end with one. «The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.» — Walter Bagehot

Great Ways to Promote Your Business Using Internet Marketing

In the online world, there are tons of different ways that you can go about promoting your own business. It’s very important that you understand Internet marketing, or your online business will never make it. That is because people have to know that you are selling something before they can buy from you. There are tons of different online stores out there that are more than likely selling the same thing that you are selling. So what is the one thing that is going to make them choose your store over a different store? That is how well you market your online business.

You have to get the name of your business out there, and you have to get it out there as much as you can. The more you can do that, the better chance you have of running a successful business. The first and best way to get your name out there is to get it notice by Search Engine sites like Yahoo! or Google. These are sites that even have programs where you can add your business to different websites that are related to your product. This is called Google AdWords. They will help you place online ads all over the Internet. This is a great way to start out when trying to get your business noticed. Although this is a great way to start out, it’s not going to be the only thing that you need to do. After you get your online business noticed, you need to find other ways to market it. One great way is to visit online forums and have your business name and link in your posts. This can be easy to do by attaching it to the bottom of every post. However, for this to work, whatever site you join has to be related to what you are selling. The next thing you need to do is look around at a whole bunch of social marketing sites. These are some of the biggest sites on the Internet to date.

Some of these sites include places like MySpace, Yuwie, and of course myLot.

These are places where you are going to want to place ads if you can. Talk to these sites about how you would go about getting ads placed on their site. Millions of people use these sites every day, and because of that, they are the prime area to place an ad. You will notice that your site’s hit counter is going to go through the roof after placing ads at these places. Last, but not least, you need to keep up with what the stats are doing on your webpage. Make sure that you are getting quality leads to your site. This can be done by checking around and getting stat counters for your webpage. When you are talking about stat counters, you are talking about more than just Hit counters. Those are helpful, but you are going to need counters that are going to see how many people are coming to your site, how long they are staying, if they are buying anything, and what links they are clicking on.

Being Successful in Affiliate Marketing

The best way to be successful in affiliate marketing is to understand the goods and services you are selling and match these goods and services to the correct audiences online. When you conduct research online, you will notice that people who have the same tastes in clothing, food, hobbies, and other pursuits congregate in the same areas. These areas are popular websites, chat rooms and open forums, and blog sites. Before joining any affiliate marketing program, you should investigate popular markets online to see what people are interested in buying. Once you have a better understanding of these groups, then you can choose a company to work for. This will make selling products much easier. Depending on the time you have to devote to affiliate marketing, you may be able to join more than one program as long as the programs do not promote competing products. When you work for more than one company, your chances to increase your profits are much higher.

By catering to different audiences online, you will be able to maximize your profits in very little time. For many in the affiliate marketing business, understanding the products and markets is the key to their success. In addition to placing ads in various places online, you can also create your own website and market that as well. Your website can entice customers to purchase products from the company you are working for by providing additional information, articles, and other items. You can also prepare a monthly newsletter so customers will return often to purchase additional products. This will mean additional commissions each time you are successful in attracting repeat business. Marketing your website and the products are all you need to be successful in this field. While there are many other home business ideas you can take advantage of, affiliate marketing is one of the most fun. As you conduct research, you may get your own ideas for products to sell online. Once you know how to find markets, you can begin targeting more markets in order to increase your earnings. Those who become experts in affiliate marketing are able to bring as much as they want each month.

Being able to control your income and work the hours you want to work are just some of the big rewards you will receive when you join an affiliate marketing program.

Companies reward those who perform well by offering them higher commissions, the ability to train others and earn a commission off their sales, and much more.

How to Use Trial Offers to Increase Your Sales

Alicia M Forest and ClientAbundance.

com Do you ever find yourself tempted to purchase something online, and even with a money-back guarantee, you’re still not quite sure about handing over your cash? Well, some of your prospects will feel the same way as they read your sales page for your product or service. Your offer sounds great, the right guarantee eliminates their risk, but they still wonder if whatever it is they are considering purchasing is right for them. If you want to increase the likelihood that they will take out their wallet, simply offer them a free or paid trial! Haven’t you loved it when you’ve been given the option to try something out for free or very little cost to make sure it’s what you want? By offering a trial to your prospects, you’re doing two things of value for your business-building. One is that you are showing that you are confident in the value of your product to offer a trial, and the other is that you are essentially eliminating the last lingering question in your prospect’s mind: «What if I don’t like it?» Allowing your prospects to decide for themselves whether or not your product or service is for them answers that question for them. So, what kinds of products and services are best for free trials? 1.

Downloadable products If you’re offering information products, like ebooks or how-to guides, you can offer a sample chapter as a free trial.

If you’re offering an e-course, you can offer one lesson as a free trial. If you’re offering an audio program, you could offer a 15-minute clip as a free trial. You could also create an introductory component to any of these that gives solid information, but that also leaves your reader or listener wanting more. 2. Membership sites It’s common practice to offer a free, $1 or $4.95 trial for a membership site. And it’s common practice because it’s a very effective way to convert your trial member to a paid member. Just like your local fitness club’s trial period – it’s much easier to sign up for a month for a couple of bucks than to pay the entire gym membership in one lump sum or to be bound to a contract for a certain length of time before you even know if the membership is for you. 3. Physical products Offer to send your product to your customer for a small processing fee plus shipping and tell them they have 30 days to test it out. If they don’t return it within those 30 days, bill them the full price for the product (minus the processing fee, if you’d like). 4. One-on-one services I want to make it very clear that I am not in favor of complimentary 1:1 session for any service professional. However, if you’d like to give a free 15-minute consultation to see if there’s a good match between you and your prospect, that can increase your client base.

A better option is to offer a free or low-cost group session. Give an introductory talk about your services and answer questions, perhaps even offer a discount to those who sign up with you right then. This way, you’re truly leveraging your time and talent by allowing your prospects to self-select themselves out without your having to go through that process individually. Just make sure that along the way and at the end of the trail period, you convey the benefits of the paid version in all these cases. Having a quality product or service and following up effectively to convert your trial customer to a paid-in-full customer will increase your overall sales. So, which of your offerings can you give a trial on? Choose one, create the trial, and see what happens to your bottom line.

Internet Marketing Consultant

Wow. Internet Marketing Consultant.

What a thought.

If you have been working on making some money on the Internet for any amount of time now, you probably can see the value of a consultant. The big thing you see going around now is that everyone should have a mentor. This is a cool idea and a mentor can definitely accelerate your success, but the price tag for a good mentor is most often several thousand dollars. This leaves many people out. Several thousand dollars can be tough when you are just starting out trying to build a business. I will not sit here and tell you that you can build a business and get rich without spending any money. If i did it would be called a misleading lie. I can tell you that finding a good Internet Marketing Consultant can save you time and money. The only way that money is made off line or on line is through business. I don’t care if you clean houses for a living. It is a business. Even if you work for someone else, say driving a trash truck, there is still a business involved. People search for ways to make money on the Internet because they want to work for themselves or work from home. Working for yourself is cool. I know because I have worked for myself for over 20 years. This would not be possible if I had not set up my business. To the best of my knowledge it is not free to start any type of business.

Some are more expensive than others. I currently have a business in the food industry. We didn’t have much money when we started. We rented a kitchen in a local tavern and had the business off the ground for around $500.00. This business is on track to do around a million dollars this year and we are paying out around $12,000.00 per week in operating costs (over head). Believe me when I tell you that we did not have this exact business in mind when we started. We took the leap, started the business and it has evolved into something totally cool. My recommendation to you is that if you are just getting started in your search, take the short cut and find yourself an Internet Marketing Consultant that you can trust and afford. You can drop me a line if you need some recommendations in this area. To Your Success, Ted

Why You Should Use Professional Graphics!

Did you know that one of the few success factors in web copy that converts (other than skillful copy writing, of course) is none other than professional graphic designs? Let’s think about it… Do people judge a book by its cover? YES. Do people judge your product by its looks? YOU BET! So, when it comes to your prospect reading your sales letter, I am sure you are now inclined to agree with me that presentation MATTERS. And that’s simply because as mentioned above, in most cases GOOD LOOKS SELL! Of course there are a few exceptions… like when I had to sell my wife on marrying me.
;)But lets get back on topic… This is the case as many marketers often report a jump in their conversion rates when switching to better designs.

Some even report a boost of as high as 200-300%! For example my good friend Aurelius Tjin shared with me how adding professional graphics to one of his web pages increased his conversion rate by 320%. Of course… in the end it comes all back to good old split testing, the same way Aurelius did at his site.

Why? Because in some rare cases not using graphics might even be better, but again… you need to split test that with a system like the Add2it Go-To System at: www. Unfortunately, not everyone is cut out for designing stunning graphics. And not everyone have the budget to pay designers for top-notch graphics. But what if there would be a low-cost solution that can be responsible for: – Saving you money from hiring expensive graphic artists, – Giving your sales letters and sites a professional look, and – Sparing you from the graphic designing chores! How would you like to get your hands on a ship load of professional, great quality graphics WITHOUT having to create them from scratch? Within minutes you will gain instant access to: – Over 200 professionally made buttons, – 63 bullets arrows, – 14 seals badges, – 37 marketing messages, – And many more graphics that can help beautify your sales pages and increase your conversion rates through the roof. How To Write Ads That Will Convert A Prospect Into A Customer

You’ve been quite some time at the Internet, marketing your products, or other’s products and running multiple Google adwords campaigns. Although your market is a competitive market, your sales letter is amazing, your ads are targeted, your landing pages are specific and well designed, you offer free ebooks to tempt your potential customers, but still you cannot convert your visitors into customers.

What is happening? If this is you then keep reading.

Ok, first stop crying please. I know it’s frustrating to work hard and get no results but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Here are some tips that will help you write killer ads that will convert prospects into customers. There are many factors that affect the quality of your ads especially when using adwords campaigns. Here’s an example of a three line ad and how to write it:Ad Line 1: The headline. It’s so important to write a good compelling headline. I will assume you already know this. Now, try to use as many targeted keywords and search terms as you can. That means you have to do some keyword research on your topic before you start writing your ad. If you don’t use specific and well targeted keywords when writing your headline your ad is bound to fail.Ad Line 2: Main text. Here you have to tell your prospects/potential customers exactly what to expect when they click your ad. Don’t use all caps. You may capitalize the first letter of every word, that’s ok. You also have to create interest here. State a fact, a solution to the problem. Create desire and an emotional attachment. What will your product help the customer do? How quickly can your product help the customers accomplish their goal? Don’t be afraid to use cliches like «How To.

.», «Amazing..», «Top selling.

.» etc. They do work.Ad Line 3: Call to action. Tell the readers why they should immediately click your ad. Maybe because they will miss some important offer or something like that. Maybe because you offer free shipping for the next 7 days. Maybe because you throw 3 exclusive bonuses. Can you find a clear and cool reason for your call of action? Use it here. Do not forget to proof-read your ads again and again before publishing.Landing pagesYes, landing pages are important. Especially if you are on Google adwords campaigns. You should know that your landing pages affect your overall quality score of your ads too, according to Google. Do you have any idea how frustrating can be to decide to click to a quality ad that points to a lousy landing page? Another bad example would be to «hide» your product under adsense ads, images or text. Try to help your visitors to see exactly what they want when they land on your page.

Basic Internet Marketing 101

To have a successful Internet business, you need only three things: 1. Product 2. Copywriting 3. Traffic It really is that simple. If you have those three things… competently performed, you will have a succesful, profitable Internet business. Let’s talk about competency in each of those three areas and how you can quickly master each one. Product You need a product that people want. Don’t fall in love with a product just because you think it’s cool. I’ll go into details in a future article, but I look at two things to determine if a product is wanted enough for me to sell it: 1. Are there people searching for that product (I use the Overture tool) 2. Are fellow marketers willing to pay a significant amount of money for traffic for that search term because people are buying (I also use the Overture tool). I multiply those two numbers. If the result is higher than the result for the product “air guns”, I’m willing to get into that market. Why “air guns”? It was simply my first profitable product. Can products that score lower than “air guns” be profitable? I’m sure they can, but there are enough markets that score higher than “air guns”, I’m not willing to chance it. BTW, don’t get too hung up on the product. It is the least important of the three items. Copywriting and traffic are infinitely more important to your business. Don’t spend two years developing a product. There are already thousands of products available on the Internet that you can market and earn a percentage as an affiliate. Choosing your product should take no longer than a half an hour, not two years.

You can run the numbers for 6-10 product ideas in less than half an hour and make your decision. Then start concentrating on what really matters… which is… Copywriting Now you need to describe your product. You will do this in many ways. You will create a sales page on a web-site that will describe the product and try to sell it. You will write small text ads to run on PPC search engines. You will write similar one and two line descriptions to enter into affiliate networks. You will write articles and resource boxes for those articles. You may even write a signature line for use on forums. The point is that copywriting is what conveys the message about your product. It is simply some words. You can sometimes uses pictures and videos, but it is generally the words that actually do the selling. Don’t forget that you are in the business of words. How do you decide what words to use? You have three choices if you are a beginner: 1. Hire a high priced copywriter. Generally you will want to pay $5,000-$10,000 per sales page for a decent copywriter. Drop me a note if you want referrals. I know two of the best. 2. Use copywriting software that scores words. I recommend Glyphius which you can read more about at It scores your prospective ad copy against a massive database of profitable ads. You can simply make up some copy and click the score button. Then change it and click the score button again. Pick the highest scoring text after you have worked with it for awhile. You’ll have copy that the pros will envy and more importantly… copy that will convert that traffic into customers. 3. Fail for a long time while you are learning. Don’t laugh. Most Internet marketers choose this path. If you are persisent enough, you will learn what works and what doesn’t. Traffic Once you have copy that sells, you need to get people to see it.

We call that “traffic” on the Internet. There are dozens of ways to get traffic on the Internet. Let me focus on two ways that I recommend to beginners because both are free (well; there is a small one-time cost to get started, but you don’t pay for each visitor like some other sources). 1. Search Engine Optimization – get free traffic from the search engines by being ranked high for the search terms associated with your product. 2. Article Submission – get recognition and links to your site by writing and submitting articles. Let’s talk about Search Engine Optimization first. First of all, DO NOT waste weeks and months of your life listening to the lemmings on the SEO forums. In my experience, they are just the blind leading the blind. There are three factors to search engine optimization you should focus on: a) Your domain and URLs b) On page optimization c) Links to your site For the first, I recommend you choose your domain and URL structure using Nemeas. You can read about it at It is very simple to use and is also based on a massive statistical analysis of the leading search engine. You simply score prospective domains and URLs and select the highest scoring one.

I don’t recommend any on page optimization unless you are creating free content sites to feed traffic to your sales page.

Instead, optimize your sales page for selling with Glyphius and don’t worry about the on page search engine factors. For getting inbound links to your site, I recommend article submission. I recommend that you use Artemis Pro. You can read more about it at It gives you a boost above any other currently available article submission tool because it submits a unique article to each publisher. That boost can amount to an 1875% increase in effectiveness given the same amount of time invested. At the end of each article, you should have a resource box with a link back to the site with your sales page. That resource box should be optimized with Glyphius. That’s it. Running a successful, profitable Internet business is really just that simple. It’s just choosing the right product, choosing the right words for your copywriting and choosing the best way to get traffic to your sales page. Please visit my blog often at for further lessons on the simplicity of Internet marketing. I’ll post regular lessons there. Every entry on my blog is categorized into three topic areas: Product, Copywriting and Traffic. Just choose one of the topics to find out more information about that area of running a successful Internet business. Here’s to your success!

Search Engine Optimization – The Truth

Search engine optimization is the process of achieving top rankings in the search engines for a website’s most relevant search terms. The most relevant search terms are the phrases that people are most likely to type into a search engine when looking for what the website has to offer. These are the search terms that it is essential to rank highly for, and these are the search terms that search engine optimization targets. Search engine optimization is a constantly changing field. Knowledge and details play a huge role. An SEO professional determines what the search engines algorithmic variables are. The website is engineered so that it can be crawled and indexed for later retrieval. This is done in a fashion that makes it easier for the search engine to determine what search terms the web page is relevant for. Sounds simple right? The main challenge of an SEO professional is to effectively aid both the search engine and the company whose website they are optimizing for in returning relevant results.

Relevant results equal targeted traffic. Targeted traffic, simply put, increases a company’s return on investment. It is incumbent upon the SEO professional to stay abreast of the latest changes in the search engine algorithms. All a person needs to do is figure out the algorithm and essentially, a person can engineer a page to be the most relevant and top returned page for any term searched for. The Steps” 1. Select your main search terms. 2. Allocate each search term to a suitable existing page. Split some pages if necessary. 3. Organize the internal linkages and link text to suit the target search terms and their pages. 4. If possible, organize links from other sites to suit the target search terms and their pages.

Organize all the on-page elements to suit each page’s target search term. 6. Sit back and watch your rankings improve! Here’s the catch… When a person is able to break down this process into one hundred simple, easy to maneuver variables, and given the competitive marketplace, and the obvious advantages that high search engine rankings can supply to a company, it invites abuse otherwise known as search engine spamming. The shady website optimizer is able to manipulate and affect the core virtue of what a search engine company stands for, that being the return of relevant search results. The reason Google is able to maintain and improve upon its search results relevancy, is that they closely guard their algorithm and PageRank™ formula along with changing the variables often. This results in a constant state of flux between search engine optimizers and the search engines themselves. In a perfect world, companies like Google would be able to freely give away the variables in its algorithm and work in harmony with SEO professionals in an effort to bring optimal results to all search engine users. There is too much at stake and a top ranking for a given search term can mean the difference between a highly successful company and a complete failure. This is what fuels the corruption and deceptive practices that many spammers employ.

This breeds intense competition between the forces of legitimate optimization and those who are bent on deception. SEO Takes TIME! SEO’s timeframe depends on a number of factors. Part of this involves the accuracy of keyword phrase choices: is the keyword phrase one your visitors would use to find your product or website? If your keyword phrases are targeted to your audience, you will gain optimum results. Did you use Paid Inclusion (PFI) and/or PPC (Pay Per Click) services? The best combination for success involves using a combination of SEO, Paid Inclusion and PPC services. If you do not use Paid Inclusion or PPC, using organic SEO only, it takes more time to achieve results.

One Powerful Reason Why You Need A List

You really need to begin building a list. Not tomorrow or next year, but now. It is the single most important action you can take for yourself and your internet income. Without a list of responsive, interested people, you will always be scrambling for traffic for your online business. Whether it is pay per click, which you must pay for, or viral marketing that you must develop products for, or articles you must write, there is always something you need to do in order to attain traffic.

You are, in a sense, not in control. Let me give you an illustration. You construct a new website, with a theme which you are knowledgeable about. So, now you have your website up. But where is the traffic? Either from a pay per click campaign, or buying advertising from newsletters could be used. And which are certainly effective. However, this will obviously cost you money. Now, let us imagine you have a fairly large list of ten thousand subscribers, with an interest in a similar area as the brand new website. All you now need to do is send this list an email informing them of this new website, and instant free traffic for you! Once you have the list, it is really this easy. Even if only five percent from this list opened their email and clicked the link you supplied within it, this is five hundred free, immediate visitors to your website. This is what I personally call Directional Email Traffic. And this works for a new website or for any website you want to get traffic. It is the most valuable that exists. Obviously, the closer to the specific zone of interest your list has with website in question, the more likely they are to not only visit, but click links on the website pages and buy whatever products are being sold, whether your own or as an affiliate. And also because these people know you and trust you. So if you ask them to do something, chances are many of them will. Can you see how powerful this is? Instead of having to buy the traffic, it is free.

This is what makes a targeted, responsive list so powerful. Remember, you need to start building this list immediately. Otherwise you will have to pay for more traffic, both with money and your time, than you really should. If you do not have a list building program in place yet, hopefully this article will convince you of the necessity of building your list.   Gary Martin All Rights Reserved.

Million Dollar Ideas – How to Make a Million Dollars Online

Chris Connors There was a lot of buzz recently over Alex Tew’s Million Dollar Homepage.

He made a million dollars within 6 months selling pixels for a buck a piece. This feat created a stir within the Internet Marketing Community and people were formulating million dollar ideas of their own. Many tried to replicate Alex’s pixel phenomenon but without much success. Alex made us realize that making a million dollars online is possible and all it requires is some smart, out of the box thinking. In this article, I will try to categorize the ingredients required to formulate your own million dollar idea. The Internet is vast and you can get lost in all the information, unless you have a clear thinking. When you start working on your million dollar idea, you have to answer three essential questions – who will pay you, why will they pay you and how much will they pay you? Answer these basic questions to all your ideas and you will end up with a winner. Let us explore each of these individually. Who Will Pay You? This is the first question you have to ask yourself. From where are you getting your revenue? You can be paid directly by customers, which was the case with Alex’s pixel website. Besides this, the most popular avenues used by Internet Marketers today are affiliate programs and contextual advertising like Google Adsense or Yahoo Publisher Network. There are a lot of other methods you can get paid but we will stick with the ones mentioned because they are the most popular. When you want to come up with a million dollar idea, you should be clear about your revenue model. Each one of these methods can be rewarding if your idea is good. Some people may argue that getting paid directly by customers is the best model. But in my experience, you can do equally well with affiliate programs and contextual advertising. Why Will They Pay You? So you have frozen on your revenue model. The next step is to figure out why these guys will pay you. Whether you are getting paid by customers, a merchant running affiliate programs or contextual advertisers, there has to be a strong enough reason for getting paid.

Don’t look at this question at the surface level. Explore deeply the benefits that you are offering for getting paid. If you are getting paid directly by customers, what is it that you are offering to them? Is it worth the money for your customers? If not, you need to make your product or service valuable enough to justify the payment. If your revenue model includes affiliate programs, then what are you offering which will make customers buy through your affiliate links? Ask yourself questions like these and get to the bottom of your offering. The bottom line is that unless you are adding value to your end customers, you won’t make a dime. Your million dollar idea should focus on providing something useful to your customers, something which will make them act the way you want them to. How Much Will They Pay You? The road to a million bucks can be as long or short as you want it to be. If you are getting paid 1 cent at a time for a customer action, you may never see a million dollars in your bank account. Your idea should revolve around a business model which pays you a handsome amount per «action». An action here is defined as that activity which triggers a payment for you. If you use Google Adsense, the action is a website visitor clicking on your Adsense ad. If you are promoting affiliate programs, the action is someone buying through your affiliate link. Each action has a reward associated with it. It can be 5 cents or a $100. I am not saying that the $100 action will make you a millionaire faster than the 5 cents action. The number of times the action is repeated might differ greatly between the two. Your idea should find a good combination of the reward and the frequency of the action. This is the key to making a quick million on the Internet. Conclusion Once you have answered these questions for each of your ideas, a clear picture will start emerging.

You will have an in depth understanding of your ideas and their potential. The idea with the highest potential is one which has a clear revenue model, adds value to the end customers and has a high reward volume and frequency. Your million dollar idea may be worth much more than you think.

Seek Out a True Internet Home Business Plan Every day, a seemingly countless number of people discouraged by the inevitable limitations of the traditional workplace strike out in a new direction as a home business owner.

Although many make wise decisions that result in financial and personal well-being, others make common errors that produce more disappointment and frustration than real profits. One of the most common mistakes is the failure to seek out an online home business plan that truly harnesses the power of technology. Although thousands upon thousands of business opportunities are offered online, many are little more than old methods sold via a web page. The businesses themselves don’t really take advantage of the Internet revolution at all. They are the same old plans we used to find advertised in magazines and newspapers dressed up with a flashy website. The smartest home business owners recognize that the growth of the Internet and its amazing ability to offer a low overhead and efficient means of reaching millions of potential customers make those opportunities custom-tailored for today’s high-tech society far more valuable than traditional plans. If you are considering escaping the nine-to-five world for something more rewarding, focus your attention on online business opportunities that are grounded in a solid understanding of the Internet. Don’t settle for an old-school plan injected with a little bit of “web talk.” Although any traditional business model can benefit from the use of the Internet, those home business opportunities that are truly designed with today’s technological reality in mind offer the greatest chance for success. Many inadvertently embrace a plan espoused by a clever web site without understanding that the underlying business model is woefully outdated for the modern economy. Most people interested in a home business want to be able to succeed without making a massive initial investment and without having to constantly tend to traditional “brick and mortar” concerns. True Internet home business plans allow one to do just that! They are built with the Internet economy and its continued explosive growth in mind. These internet home business plans are designed by online experts who recognize the power of automation and residual income streams, instead of relying on tired and limp methods that have run their course.

By seeking out a true Internet home business plan, one can successfully earn both direct and residual income from the comfort of their own home without suffering through the frustration and disappointment of making yesterday’s square pegs fit into today’s round holes.

An Internet Marketing Guru’s true story

Get Gone starts out as jottings of the traumatic few days in the breakdown of a long relationship between two soul mates and lovers. One who dreams and an Internet marketing guru who deals with reality.

Get Gone tells of how the desires of one consumed and depleted the other. Get Gone tells of illusions, spirits and black magic. Get Gone spells out the anguish of uncertainty and emptiness. The big difference is that Get Gone has only just started, its already beyond those few days and into even deeper territory. Where emotions are at critical and losses will be huge, and changes are already intensively decisive. This story has much distance to go and captivating pages to produce, into a future you could not even start to imagine and from a past that will spell bind you. Its destined to be a book better than any fiction. They say fact is stranger than fiction, well here is the actual marketing proof. But most of all, Get Gone tells it as it happens, sometimes minute by anguishing real true minute. There is a mountain to be learnt from this far out experience and a whole lot of very unusual stuff to get used to. But, Get Gone has only just started, the story is developing day by riveting day with who knows what outcome.

But it sure is addictive stuff and you never know what is coming next.

As an Internet Marketing Viral, it could be pure dynamite. Its much better than Big Brother or Coronation street or any soap for that matter, this is real unique content, like never before. They didn’t have illusions and evil spirits in them now did they? Or the promise of intensive love triangles and passionate affairs destined to be? Or promises of new equally unbelievable adventures in far off places with who knows who? Or even complete disaster! All emotions laid open to the core and all things are possible with this saga. Will it all work out? Is there even bigger problems to come? Will there be new loves in the air or deeper despair? Will the Chauffeurs queue up outside? Will independence be found? Will Elizabeth change direction yet again? Will she ever find true happiness? Will torrid love affairs develope? Will a new home be on the horizon? Will the Internet marketing succeed? Will there be even bigger illusions? Will the cleaner be gay? Will new spirits or devils appear? Will he wear a condom? There is so much that will yet happen and even the author knows not will or wont. This could make make best read of the year on the Internet or even best read of the year, full stop!

One Powerful Marketing Strategy

Patric Chan I want to share with you a very valuable marketing lesson today — The «Reason Why» strategy.

This is part of the reason why 100 packages of my newly released product, «Publishing Business Secrets» DVD Course was sold out 2 months ago. Actually, we sold 73 copies in less than 18 hours from 722 visitors visiting the webpage. The product was sold at $397 per package at the pre-launch price. So, that’s an average of US $40.14 per website visitor. Do you want to know why it converts so well? The «Reason Why» strategy was one of the main reasons. A «Reason Why» strategy basically communicates with your prospects the «reason» why they need to order it today without any delay. In a nutshell, you need to give a ‘reason’ why your prospect should buy from you today. It sounds very simple but the strategy is waaaaay more powerful than the simplicity of it. Why? Because the strategy taps into one of human’s most powerful decision makers — the emotion. Create urgency in your offer. The best ‘reason’ to use in this strategy is to create a limited offer. Limited offers can be:  Price will increase  Get extra bonus products  limited stock  special payment plan  etc But please don’t use poor ‘reasons’ for this strategy. I’ve seen some marketers using the reason of running out of ’seats’ when they’re selling tele-seminars. This strategy is fine if you’re sincerely wanting 50 people to attend your call only. But if you’re trying to pack it with as many participants as possible, don’t use this ‘reason’. In my personal opinion, that’s not a good «reason why» strategy. Would you believe that it’s not possible to increase the lines for more participants if you have a lot prospects who want to get on your call? Maybe that’s true. Who knows, maybe they really cannot extend more lines. If the tele-conference call company can’t do that, you might consider using one that can because it’s just pure, bad business sense to reject participants that wants to attend your tele-seminars! But if you’re selling a real live seminar, it’s ok to use the ‘reason’ of limited seats because your venue might be able to allocate a certain number of people only. And also, you want to make sure that the crowd’s not too big so that you have it in control.

Or the ‘reason’ that the product will be sold out when you’re selling an ebook. Now, that’s another weird ‘reason’. An ebook is an ebook. You cannot ’sold out’ because it’s unlimited. It’s electron. It can be ’sold out’ if you said that you want to sell 100 copies only because you do not want to share the content with the world. That ‘reason’ is fine but MAKE SURE you keep your words or it’ll backfire. I’ve seen marketers who sold limited copies of ebooks with great success. The ‘Reason Why»? Never to sell it to the public again. When you’re using the «reason why» strategy, it has to be valid. Logical. Make sense. In my recent promotion by using the «reason why» strategy, I’ve stressed that we have limited quantities. Obviously the ‘reason’ is valid because we have only produced 100 copies to ‘test’ the market and also, to get feedbacks. And it’s the truth that after the 100 copies are sold, I’ve stop selling it because I don’t have any more copies to sell. Remember, a customer’s decision to buy is influenced by the emotion and justified by the logic mind. Have a good ‘reason’ why your prospect should buy from YOU — And buy from you TODAY.

Internet Marketing, The Main Source of Traffic

For a successful internet marketing strategy one must first have a product that they can market and a website to promote that product on.

From that point on internet marketing takes over. The purpose of internet marketing is to promote a product in the most creative means possible. The first step is to get the website of the product some traffic. The best way to accomplish this is to get the website on some search engines. Having your website come up in a search will do wonders. Make sure to think of as many keywords as possible to allow your website come up. Another good way to produce more traffic is to recruit affiliates, having them add links to their websites that will bring them back to yours. You can go to specific businesses that you know of already or use databases that have companies listed with them that are willing to make new affiliate relationships. If your website is kept in your customers mind this will bring more repeat traffic. To do this, send a newsletter out to them, monthly at the very least, reminding customers that your website is still up and running and you are more than happy to do business with them. Use some of your favorite websites as examples. What is it that they do to get you to keep coming back to them to give them your money? If things still seem a bit hazy there is always the option of internet marketing courses.

Many of which are offered on the internet.

In these classes a student will learn the ins and outs of terms, plans and little known secrets of the internet marketing world. At the end of the courses a student should be fully prepared to take on the challenge that lies ahead of them. There is always the option of having someone do the work for you. There are several internet marketing agencies out there that will think of strategies of ways to promote your growing business. Some will even test your product with a consumer panel to best optimize your business. Through imaginative internet marketing your business will flourish. It just takes a little ingenuity to get things off and running and before you know it your business will be booming.

How To Transform Your Profits Using Direct Response and Copyrighting Secrets

Geoff Morris You know how sometimes, you look at your Hi-Fi system that you have had for many years – Old Faithful, and you think – ‘Well – time I bought the latest gizmos and replaced the whole lot with one that works’.

I remember the first system I bought, and where I bought it from.

It was from a little store in town, where the manager was really helpful and friendly, not at all pushy, and he even offered to come round that same evening and help me sort out all this new spaghetti wiring that seemed to spring up from everywhere.

Because of this helpfulness, over the years I went back to this store on many occasions, but with the passing of time, even me, with my loyalty, increasingly turned to the internet for my purchases. Something inside me though, made me revisit this store – especially after seeing their pathetic attempt at a web site. You know the sort. It says something like ‘Hello, welcome to my web site, our company has been here for 35 years, we sell this and this and this’ all beneath a great big LOGO. Now logo’s are very impressive to the owners, but usually mean diddlysquat to any passing surfers. Also, they seemed to be spending a lot of money on equally bland adverts in the local papers – you know, prime front page bottom right position – and total ignorable. When I got to the store, I spoke to the manager (his name was Andy by the way), and asked him why he had never updated his web site. “Oh, we don’t sell on the Internet” was his reply, “we can’t compete on price on the web, so we get all of our business from local advertising”. The fact that his site, crappy as it was, was Number 1 in a Google search for business of that sort in his area was totally lost on him! Then I asked him which advert, which paper, pulled in the most leads. His response was also so typical of many a small business owner.

“Well, as long as we get 20 or 30 leads a week, we don’t worry about where they came from” he said. When asked how he handled the leads, he said that they just employ a girl to follow up by phone, give it two attempts, then moved on to the next lead. He also admitted that they don’t keep an up-to-date on-line database, and don’t keep email addresses of their old customers (including me!). Now, to me that all sounded like a real waste of time, opportunity and money. Having been involved in copyrighting for some time, and now selling my own Direct Marketing systems for small businesses, this to me seemed like a challenge. Out of a fondness for his previous good service to me, I offered my services to give his business a complete marketing makeover totally free of change ( except of course for the fact that I would want a glowing testimonial afterwards – I am after all, a Marketer). Just digging around in their business, I discovered so many interesting facts about this company, which could have added such tremendous added-value potential to their customers and prospects alike I couldn’t believe it. I knew that had these facts been pulled out in front of surfers, or indeed their existing customer and prospect lists, the hits would have shot through the roof. For instance, they had the ability to build low cost computers, and actually had the ability to offer a pc service facility, and had employed two teenage ‘geeks’ that seemed to me to be able to answer any question on computers known to man! Ideal fodder for any half decent direct marketing activity, and a dream for a copywriter to get to grips with! It was very clear that they simply did not know the value of the potential ‘value proposition’ they could make in their marketing blurb. Working closely with them, within three months their business was beginning to show a remarkable growth in turnover, and PROFIT. Not only that, but instead of facing the prospect of many other business in the town, that of giving up in the face of competition from Nationwide chains as well as price wars on the internet, this firm was on a very remarkable, steady growth in business, not just from local trade, but nationwide.

So, lets see where direct marketing and good copywriting secrets has taken them? They now have: • An extremely proactive web site that is geared up to capture names and email addresses of prospects. With a much bigger list came the opportunity to sell more and more low-priced products, and the ability to do joint ventures with suppliers as new products came along. • A very efficient way of tracking the results of every promotion and advert – so they now put their money where the business is, and have actually reduced the cost of getting each prospect. They are able to analyze the average value of their customers so that they can set the cost of their advertising appropriately, and they know what they can afford to give away for free to entice new custom. • A more highly focused method of creating adverts. Using powerful words rather than pictures of nice looking televisions, they now know that the prospects that signed in were more highly motivated and targeted than the previous ones. • A very efficient customer database was in place, so they were able to target their existing customers now on a regular basis, luring them back into the store. They even found a number of low value products, just to keep these customers spending on a regular basis, so when the ‘BIG Spend’ opportunity came up, Andy’s store was already top of their list. • A number of separate profit centres set up (like pc repairs) to maximize on their growth, and retain new and existing customers alike. This also helped to build retention with existing clients, and was even creating more business by good word of mouth promotions (and of course the ‘Tell A Friend’ script on their web site. • A formula for getting great testimonials from very satisfied customers. These testimonials are all on the website and are a key part of establishing a reputation for honesty, integrity and service excellence.

• A stream of business coming in from the web – based on price alone – and making a profit from it! (Remember Andy’s earlier comments?) In all, they are now spending less money on advertising and promotions, but generating more hot qualified leads.

And of course they are making far more profit out of every activity they are now involved in.

For a small business they are now a pretty slick outfit that completely understand what their customer base want, and so can target their offering very accurately. Is it not time you had a good close look at how your business is really performing? Good direct marketing and copywriting facilities could breathe new (and a longer) life into any business. Whether you do it yourself, or employ an internet-aware consultant to do it for you, the effort could be more rewarding than you could ever imagine. Today’s new technologies and markets open up so many new possibilities that the question you should really be asking yourself is ‘can my business survives without it?’

What if You Have Too Many Brands?

Suzanne Falter-Barns We recently got this query from a reader, T. T. «Mitch» Mitchell: “… You mention that if a person provides more than one type of product or service they should have an additional website. However, if you’re trying to brand your name or your business name, aren’t you going to dilute the process by having an additional website for it?” That’s a question I get a lot. What do you do if you have more than one brand? Well, I have several – Get Known Now,, Blog Your Way to a Bestseller, and Licensing Revenue Secrets. And actually, it was only in the past few months that I could seriously see how and why I should have more than one brand. Because, like Mitch I once thought having more than one brand was a problem. In fact, having more than one brand can be good for business. It all boils down to life purpose. Each brand needs to be assessed in terms of how it fits into your master plan. Does it serve an integral part or is it just a gratuitous addition that is kind of fun but doesn’t seriously move the ball forward? Ideally, your brands should intersect right at the point of your ‘Soul Purpose’. Do they all support one common goal? They may simply be different ways to support that bigger, overriding vision for your company.

And cumulatively, they add up to a much bigger Web presence, which is always good. In other words, I connect with life coaches who want tools for creative breakthroughs over at How Much Joy. But then they and their clients get to the point where they really need to get known for this dream work they’re creating. So they get directed to my Get Known Now site for this kind of marketing help. The other brands give them specific tools to use to that end. See how it all fits together? Are you confused about your varying brands? Here is a specific list of guidelines you can use. If any of your brands don’t fit the following criteria, be brave and consider abandoning them. It will only strengthen your more targeted, focused work. Do they all serve the same audience? Critical for efficiency … and serving your purpose. There’s a little give for slightly differing audiences here. For instance, Get Known Now is more likely to attract small business owners than How Much Joy. But they both serve speakers, authors and coaches. Is there a logical sequence or relationship among the brands? With mine, people move from general dream-creating, joy work towards leading joy workshops. Then they need publicity and branding, so Get Known Now steps in to serve them. Are the sub-brands clearly identified with the ‘big’ brand? For instance, I recently re-branded the blog associated with my Get Known Now site as …. The Get Known Now Blog! Boring? Possibly. But still far more clear. And whenever someone drops in, they are more likely to remember my brand, tell others about it, etc.. Go ahead. Be boring. Keep on restating your brand in all of your related products. I have the Get Known Now home study course, Get Known Now Blast Off group coaching, even soon a Get Known Now Unplugged podcast. (If you want to live a little, you can throw in additional qualifying words like ‘Blast Off’, for instance.) Does the brand solve a problem that your target market has? Seems like a simple question – but it’s deceptive.

Be tough with yourself and your business here. And get some outside feedback from a coach or friend if you’re not sure. Does the brand serve your purpose … honestly and truly? Think hard, because Soul Purposes tend to be broad and general. (I define them as that service or gift you’re meant to give to other people, not a specific task, like writing or coaching.) Does the brand still excite you? I’m not talking about the set of words here, but the larger job of the brand. Is it still alive for you? Sometimes we lug along a brand for years without acknowledging that its usefulness has ended. It’s really OK to abandon brands that no longer work for you; think of them as having served their purpose. Then let them go and move on. Think about your brands … even write them all down and re-evaluate them one more time. Then I invite you to take anything off of your plate that simply no longer fits the scheme of what you’re up to. Oh yes … and did I mention you’ll probably have lots of brands in life? Go forth and conquer!

News and the Internet

The use of online news sites have been extremely popular in the way the average internet user is able to keep up with the news on the internet, without the hassle of having to buy a newspaper, turn on the television, or the radio.

It is perhaps the most convenient way an Internet user can get his/her news on the Internet.

Most of the major news organizations have online versions of their news on the Internet. The Washington Post and the New York Times has articles from their newspaper online. The ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) radio has transcripts of their radio bulletins online and Channel Nine of Australia has collaborated with MSN to jointly put up articles on the web. Internet users have become net savvy enough to scour the web for alternative news sources. The Arab media company, Al Jezeera, has plenty of hits on its English news site, even though; it was lauded as anti-American by the Bush administration. These are just some examples on how the news which internet users read online, are mostly from media companies which have already had their hand in the production of other forms of more traditional media before venturing onto the Internet. Yet, with this in mind, it is not surprising that much of the information that an internet user reads from online news sites is mainly recycled information from these media organizations. Those with the resources to produce their news segments in other forms of media, would also have the resources to run an online news site. The Washington Post has started charging for their articles to be read online, so that they can garner some revenue from their Internet media business, whilst the New York Times require their readers to register before they are permitted to read their articles.

Hence with the way internet news sites are evolving, there is really becoming only one way where the consumer can get hold of news from these organizations and that is to pay.

Brand You: The Top Five Ways To Build Your Brand Online

Angela Booth Your brand is you. It’s everything that your business is, encapsulated in a name, and sometimes in a slogan. But naming your business and creating a slogan isn’t enough.

You’ve got to build your brand, by showing what your brand stands for. Here are the top five ways to build your brand online: 1. Create a Web site Your Web site can be anything from a tiny billboard site to a huge ten-thousand page extravaganza. Either way, your Web site builds your brand. Of course, the more pages your site has, the more you can showcase your products and your expertise. Tip: you’re never done building your brand, and you’re never done building your Web site either. Aim to add something to your Web site every day, even if it’s only one blog post (see below). Building your Web site is the easiest, the cheapest, and the fastest way to build your brand, online or offline. 2. Develop a blog A blog lets you broadcast your branding messages far and wide via the magic of Really Simple Syndication (RSS). Within minutes after you’ve written a blog post and published it, your post is visible on sites like Technorati, which is both a blog search engine and a blog promotion tool. The general business community is now wide awake to the power of blogs. Your blog can help you to build your brand as nothing else can.

Spend a few minutes today checking out the Web sites of others in your industry.

You may be surprised, and even shocked, to discover how many of your competitors are blogging. 3. Write articles to showcase your expertise What do you know? What do you do? How do you do it? Why do you do it? When do you do it? Your customers have many questions that they want answered before and after they do business with you. One of the easiest ways you can answer their questions is to write articles, white papers, and reports. If you do enough of this, your Web site will become a trusted portal for news about your industry. This has huge benefits for your Search Engine Optimization (SEO) activities. Can you imagine what this could do to build your brand? Once you’ve written the articles, post them to your Web site, and to article directories, of which there are hundreds online. When you post these documents to article directories, people are made aware of your brand, and your brand’s message spreads virally, as other people promote your material on their Web sites. 4. Write news releases Up to 80 per cent of the all news in newspapers and on news sites is taken directly from press releases sent out by companies and organizations. Whenever a story appears about you in the press, whether online or offline, the resulting free publicity is branding that you can’t buy, no matter how much money you spend on advertising.

You can leverage your brand with just one story in a daily paper. Tip: your local media, newspapers, radio and TV, are always desperate for stories — send your releases to your local media, as well as posting them online. 5. Teach your expertise to others When you teach others, you learn too. In fact, you may only become fully aware of what your brand actually is when you start to sell franchises, or when you teach others your processes. Branding is a function of marketing, and whether your business is brand new or well-established, branding your business makes your business memorable, so it’s essential. These top five activities will create a strong brand for you, much sooner than you think possible.

A website operator and owner must have the good sense to include articles in his or her site that will work for them and earn them the many benefits articles can give to their site. Articles have been known to be the driving force in driving traffic to a website. Articles are a factor in giving site high rankings in search result pages. The higher a site ranks the bigger slice of the traffic flow pie he gets. With a huge number in traffic flow, there are more profits and more potential for other income generating schemes as well. But, it is not just about stuffing your site with articles; they have certain requirements as well. These requirements must be met to obtain the maximum benefits an article will provide for your site. A well written article will catch the eyes and interest of your customers and keep them coming back for more. They would also be able to recommend your site to others. Here are some tips to help you and assist you in making your articles. Below you will read about four things all articles must have to make it successful and helpful in making your site a profit earning and traffic overflowing site. • Keywords and Keyword Phrases. An article must always be centered on the keywords and keyword phrases. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who are just merely browsing but actually looking for a specific something. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for (e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer and Etcetera). It could be anything they want. The Important thing is that you have an article that has the keywords that are related to your site. For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must be able t have articles about cars and their parts. There are many tools in the internet that provides service in helping a webmaster out in determining what keywords and keyword phrases are mostly sought out.

You can use this tool to determine what keywords to use and write about. • Keyword Density Know that you have your keywords and keyword phrases, you must use them fully. An article must have good keyword density for a search engine to “feel” its presence. Articles should at least have ten to fifteen percent of keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. Getting a high rank is what articles do best for a site. Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used on an article. The number varies depending on the number of words used in an article. An effective article must have a keyword density that is not too high or too low. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader as well as the search engines. It comes off as overeager. A low number may be ignored by the search engines. • Good Article Content Like what is stated above, you cannot just riddle an article with keywords. They must also be regarded as good reading materials. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information and help for their needs.

Articles should be written well with correct spelling and good grammar.

If you want people to trust you, make your work good and well thought out. People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Try to get great information and as many facts as you can. A good and well written article will boost your reputation as an expert in your chosen field or topic. As more people believe in you. They will be able to trust you and your products. • Linking Articles And another important thing to remember. If you are going to submit articles to ezines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, DON’T ever forget to include a link to your site. A little resource box with a brief description of your site and you should always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted. If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site. When word gets around about your command of Article facts, others who need to know about Article will start to actively seek you out.

Affiliate Advertising For Publishers: Maximising Conversion By Not Compromising Your Content

Affiliate advertising represents a massive opportunity to profit from your website, and with any profitable medium there will be people searching for methods of increasing their own slice of the pie by «playing the system». Why take risks yourself with a product or service when programs such as Google Adsense enable you to profit from others desire to drive traffic and sales to their companies? You may be tempted to simply create a website with the express intention of selling advertising space. This is a proven business method after all, free local newspapers and newsletters have been operating for years based entirely on advertising revenue and classifieds, and the majority of the worlds television stations can only stay in business by telling you about their sponsors and advertisers products. The world wide web offers advertisers an low overheads, an unrivalled market reach all combined with a level of statistical feedback that traditional non-interactive media can only dream of. This makes online business extremely attractive but also extremely competitive. Advertisers need to find ways of raising awareness of their products and services against global competition. Maximising penetration in such a massive arena would take more resources than most companies can muster. Enter the affiliate marketeers. You, as a website publisher become an affiliate by agreeing with companies that you will promote their product on your website. In return the advertisers will pay you for bringing traffic or sales to their website.

The more traffic or converted sales you bring the more you will earn for your efforts. By the same measure the more traffic you bring to your own web pages the more you potentially stand to earn from your affiliates. At this point many affiliate marketeers will disengage their brain, concentrating their efforts on bringing web surfers to their site in order to push them on to their affiliates. Often the webmasters of these sites will be well versed in search engine technology, understanding the core concepts of optimised site design, keyword targetting, external linking and content generation that will increase the «relevance» of their page in the indexes of Google, Yahoo and MSN. It is often the final, and tellingly the most time consuming of these techniques that will merit the least attention in the minds of professional web marketeers. Often an amount of statistical analysis will take place to identify search trends and high paying affiliate industries that will potentially have the highest payout. A site will then be designed with search engine optimisation at the forefront, simple coding practices that will enable an algorithm to make a good attempt at cataloging the subject matter of the page and relate it to the identified keywords. Search engine experts are also well aware that sites which are updated frequently are treated as «more relevant» in the search engine index. This is a simple equation, if you are searching for information on MP3 players you want to be presented with content telling you about the features of the latest iPod and reviewing the new competing models.

You aren’t interested in reviews of a 5 year old device with the ergonomics and storage capacity of a housebrick. In their rush for content a number of affiliate marketeers will turn to external sources, be it in the form of user generated content or «article directories». Both can be useful tools for time-challenged webmasters, and particularly in the case of article directories which take the form of free to publish text on almost any subject imaginable. Simply search for an article on your particular subject of choice, paste it into you template, upload it to your site and wait for the search engines to pick it up. Hey presto you are instantly a more relevant site and bumping yourself up the Google results while still leaving yourself time to spend your hard earned affiliate money at the pub. So far so good but don’t forget the wisdom of your parents generation, «buyer beware» and «you get what you pay for». Well if you are paying nothing more than a tiny fraction of your internet bill for these articles then you might want to consider the motives of the author of that lovely keyword rich article you just found. The fact is there are many valuable articles in directories such as EZineArticles andZapContent.

com, but the mistake many webmasters make in their rush for search engine optimised content it that they don’t read, and I mean really read the text that they are merrily pasting into their site.

Before hitting ctrl-c ask yourself «does this content really benefit my readers». The chances are the best content from these services will find itself syndicated across a number of sites, or the information will be republished in differing forms. As people use their search engines to find information they will look at a number of websites and will soon realise which content has been regurgitated ad-nausium. Net result is if their first impression of your site is one that offers the same old information they won’t bother coming back. Even worse, a number of prolific authors have an ulterior motive. They are simply trying to boost their own search relevance by increasing the number of backlinks to their own websites. If an article you find is borderline check the authors history. If they have submitted hundreds of pages of almost identical content stuffed to the gills with the same keywords the chances are they are simply link-spamming. They don’t care if you publish their content or not, each page in the directory linking back to their website in order to boost their page rank. Would your readers really be interested in such sloppy content? I’m sure mine wouldn’t. This takes us neatly onto the key message. Why do people return to a website and hopefully trust their sponsors? Because the site has personality, your readers should be able to identify with your informational pages, hopefully they will book mark your page, even tell others to read it.

Repeat visitors are far more likely to finally visit your sponsors than those who find your page once and then head back to their search engine of choice. By all means use relevant articles but never compromise your content by relying too much on third party content. But aside from the human element there is a far more serious reason for ensuring your content is the best, and most original it can be and that is the nature of search engines. Companies such as Google know that their market position is based entirely on trust in their organic results. Expect their search algorithms in future to be tweaked against certain types of syndicated content in order to give the (perceived) best service to their searchers. Spending time now on good quality, original and easily updated content could save you time in the long run as you avoid spending time chasing your page rankings against ever more sophisticated relevance algorithms.

Are You Placing Your Success in the Hands of Others?

Mal Keenan This December coming will be the second anniversary of my full-time home business. Did you know that it took me almost six years to get to the stage of earning enough income to be able to make it a full-time venture? That’s right! Six years of long hours spent in front of a PC. For the last year or two I used a wireless laptop, which at least meant I could move around the house rather than been stuck in one room. Many of the people I deal with today do not want to spend six weeks let alone six years building their business. They expect INSTANT riches. Are you one of those? Sure, some people are overnight successes but they are a small minority. The vast majority of full-time internet marketers have taken at least a year or two to make a real success of their home business. I’m a slow learner….. I am a full-time affiliate marketer. That means I make my income selling other people’s products and services. The first product I ever sold earned me $8. Obviously I wasn’t able to buy a new car in the first month but the initial sale was a big turning point.

It was then that I realised that it really IS possible to make money online. From there my income grew steadily until I was comfortable enough to take the massive step of making a career of it. Was it easy? Obviously not, or I would have got there a lot sooner. The most important thing I have learnt over the years is that you absolutely MUST take responsibility for your own business. Too many people out there are putting THEIR success in the hands of others and frequently blaming people, places, and things for their failure. If you think someone is actually going to do this for you or even meet you half way then you’re sadly mistaken. Many people that are making it won’t even answer your emails. That was my experience at the beginning and it still is to this day. Am I complaining? No, this is something that I accept totally. It doesn’t come between me and success. If MY success is conditional on what OTHER PEOPLE do then I become frustrated time and time again. The only lucky breaks you are likely to get are those you create for yourself. If someone isn’t playing ball then move on until you find someone that will. If you don’t get a response to your email try again, try the phone, try someone else.

Just keep trying! The only way you can actually fail is by giving up, so simple.

So true that 95% give up. The next time you find yourself thinking «if only this….» or «if only he would…» stop yourself and look at how YOU can find another way. How can YOU add to your business on a daily basis? One positive action every day for your business will eventually lead you to that elusive online career regardless of what other people are doing.

So You Want To Be A Piggy Back Marketer

Janet Dunmore Reasons to become an Affiliate Marketer: There is no product to produce. No e-commerce system to set up and pay for. No customer support to worry about. You do not even need to have a website. Some vendors pay as much as 75%. Choosing a program: Choose your program wisely, don’t just go for the highest paying product. Check out if the sales page does a good job of selling the product. Does it track correctly and pay on time? Make sure your chances of getting paid as an affiliate are not reduced by the following points: Does the company have a for life customer policy. This can mean that someone else who sold a product to that person previously will get the affiliate revenue even though you did the marketing etc. Are there lots of external links on the sales page to lead the customer away from the order page? If there is a sales capture page on entry to claim free report etc this could mean that the vendor may follow up later and make the sale and you won’t receive commission.

Overt links to an affiliate sign up page could mean your customer could become an affiliate and purchase through their own link. Look out for multiple payment options so that if you’re affiliated through Clickbank and the customer clicks on the Paypal button you won’t get paid. Finding content for your site: If you don’t want to write it yourself then go to – articles/ or to one of the many popular sites with free to print content in your chosen category. Always remember to include the authors details in the article. Marketing: Create a plan of action and stay focused on it. Find a product that has plenty of resources to help with your marketing efforts. Buy the product and read it or use it thoroughly, you can not promote it successfully if you don’t know it well. You can get up and running as an affiliate without a website you can post in forums or write an article and submit to the many ezine sites, just type your query into Google or Yahoo for either. Always remember to include your hoplink in your signature box or resource box. Always cloak the link to stop it being diverted to another id. There are several free link cloakers available, Tiny URL is one or AddMe is another. If using a website to promote the product try and create your own ads as this will make you stand out from the crowd. Try to become a master of one particular advertising method i.e. article writing, forum posts, or PPC. Mistakes people make: Not evolving, you must keep up with new trends and techniques in marketing or you will be left behind. By joining an affiliate program that has constantly updated resources this should help tremendously. If you are promoting through your website do not neglect to study your statistics to find out where you visitors are coming from and if they are converting so that you can refocus your efforts should they not be working.

Don’t have a web page with lots of products. Keep your page focused on one product, too many different products can be confusing and people will just leave. Try to capture email with an opt in box or page so that you can market to these customers in the future. Your first website will probably take quite a bit of time to build if you are new to this but afterwards you can start to replicate the processes you have used and build more sites quickly for other niche products. Don’t try to promote too many at once though, make a thorough and concerted effort with each one.
